The introductory section of the PTE Academic exam has no assessment and no impact on your final score. Its main purpose is to familiarize you with the exam format, instructions and platform interface before you begin the tested sections. This section consists of two parts: a brief introduction to the exam and an interactive guide on how to use the platform.
